HMD Global is currently working on launching a new smartphone called HMD Skyline. Recently leaked images of the device reveal a design inspired by the Nokia Lumia 920. Now, the phone has appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing more details about its internal specifications.

According to Geekbench data, the HMD Skyline features a processor codenamed 'Tomcat,' and comes with 8GB of RAM. The octa-core processor consists of four cores running at 1.96 GHz and four cores running at 2.40 GHz, indicating that it uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The phone will run on Android 14 at launch and has shown positive performance results on Geekbench with 1027 points in the single-core test and 2857 points in the multi-core test.


Leaks suggest that the HMD Skyline will have an FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 108MP main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a third lens, which could be either macro or depth. The front camera will have a resolution of 32MP.


Additionally, the phone will be equipped with a 4900mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. It will also feature stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP67 water and dust resistance. Although the official price has not been announced, leaks suggest it might be around 520 euros for the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
